Hey hey hey everyone! Matty Ice is baaack. It’s nice to be back tbh, I was worried that I would be busy with just staring uni among some other things that I’ll get to later, but right now I think I’ll have enough time to dedicate to this game.
Since playing last I was the lovable early boot Clarence Black in Warriors 6 where I had a kick-ass confessional theme, and also the lovable mid merge boot Gabe Cade in Pure 3. I was asked back to both series as an AS or as a returnee in some capacity which I was very thrilled about.
I also won my first game! I am coming off of a win right now from Epic FvFvF as the not QUITE as lovable Amanda Kimmel. I’ll also be speaking a bit about how that game affected me and how I think it may affect my chances here, but it was essentially my first ever AS(ish) game. I took a super weird turn from my normal play style and instead of being CPP and helping out allies and being well liked and stuff, I went pretty CPN-MORN and started voting out allies who have helped me the entire game. Obviously I won so the change in strategy worked out, but it DID make the win feel slightly empty considering I couldn’t celebrate it as much as I would have liked (and also a total goat almost on out of complete bitterness but that’s another story and I’m talking way too much about this now).
ANYWAY this game. Going into this game I’d like to try going back to my CPP roots. The winners of AS games tend to be almost on-threats while all the big names take each other out. Will that happen here? I can only assume which PROBABLY means I don’t have an amazing chance lol. But ya never know, maybe being busy with school and hosting Twisted can actually help me come off as a non-threat.
As far as the cast goes, I LOVE that there aren’t like 40 people playing. A small game of AS is quite refreshing and it’s still exciting to see a lot of the cast. I know a pretty large amount of the people playing (doesn’t mean I am friendly with all of them). I am worried about pre-game stuff possibly messing me up a bit (ironic coming from me), but it is AS so it’s understandable to be worried about that. There seems to be a lot of players from the Twisted and Warriors series, with randoms that I don’t really know thrown in. Initially I was warned by Fabio that a possible Warriors pregame was probably forming, but there aren’t an absolute ton of players for that to be a mega problem yet. I’m HUGELY worried that my relationships with Sierra and Karter (being that we are sorta all co-hosts) will put a mega target on us. Fabio also mentioned Cochran saying how we were an obvious pairing.
I mean he isn’t WRONG haha. I haven’t talked to them at all about specific TSG alliance stuff, but I think it’s almost an unspoken thing that we were going to somewhat try and work together. Well ALMOST unspoken. I was/am SUPER nervous Sierra may want a bit of payback from Epic and want to vote me out, which I mean like w/e I’d sorta prefer it to not happen. She instead asked me first (jokingly I think) if I was going to try making her first boot and try voting her out like in Epic, where I told her about my own concerns for her doing that to me. I THINK we are set there haha, like it is honestly hard to tell and I am pretty insecure about it but once again, if I get voted out for being a threat I can understand that. This time around I don’t intend on trying to vote her out anyway after the TRAUMA I went through last time. Plus tbh she has enough people gunning for her as the only past winner and as being a big personality, so me being included in that seems wrong.
THIS CONFESSIONAL is supposed to be a cast assessment. Like I said I know a lot of the people playing so I want to talk about each one and my relationship with them, maybe talk about what I know about them game wise. Should be fun!

I’ll start with the people I know absolutely nothing about.
Courtney [2nd]
Reynold [4th]
Tyson [11th]
He was rooting for me in Luanda lol, so I would imagine he is a pretty cool dude.
Brenda [3rd]
Came in 3rd place twice, so not too shabby. Ok to talk to for the little I have thus far, but nothing super amazing. Quite chill.
NaOnka [5th]
I had a great first chat with her, she definitely seems nice enough. I know basically nothing about her though. I VAGUELY thought she was the OTT personality of Brazil but I very well can be wrong there. As you can see with all these people I haven’t done my research yet. I MAY later, idk.
NOW for people I haven’t really played with but still know a bit about them
Ian [16th]
I never interacted with him at all in Luanda except for his 2nd chances plea. I mean considering you asked for him back he must have been a fun character. I know Joaquin was at one point close to him so that can be something to look out for. I talked to him a little when tribes formed and he also seems like a nice dude. He seems to be into video and media editing which is a hobby I want to get into more.
JT [3rd] (Host Wes, Vito GaE [19th], Joe)
TECHNICALLY I played in 2 games with him. He was the first boot of Good and Evil 9 (I voted him out, he just wasn’t around a lot) and then we never interacted in Warriors 6. He has also hosted me for Pure and I mean I think he’s a nice guy. It’s hard to have any opinion on him because I haven’t seen him play much, but just from what I know he doesn’t seem like a SUPER threat or anything. He seems to be more UTR. Relatability wise we are both on the younger side of the ORG-verse and enjoy image editing, whats not to love? Def has relationships of some sort to various warriors people.
Brandon [8th] (Host Brian)
One of my biggest fans <3 . He hosted me in this past season of Warriors. He seems like a pretty cool dude and we happen to be the same age (both first years at uni). I haven’t heard the BEST reviews of his gameplay (seems to apparently be sporadic) but I am not one to judge until I have played with him myself. I am actually excited at the prospect of working with him just because we can talk about random stuff that I normally can’t with other ORGers (there are like 4 NFL fans I have met in ORGs, it’s saddening, but ew he likes the Patriots and hates the Giants, red flag right there). A warriors host so therefore I’m sure he’s got his connections
Sierra Dawn [7th] (Marta)
The legend that is Marta. She was actually really fun to talk to on the first day and I loved doing it. This is the first time I am REALLY playing with her. We played at the same time in pure but we didn’t interact a whole lot. Lots of other people seem to love Marta but no one seems to take her seriously. I am legitimately considering trying to work with her but I’m afraid she may out me at some point. I think I need to look out for someone legit trying to play for her to win because I think that may be a thing that can happen at some point. PROBABLY not lol, but ya never know, weirder things have happened (like Joaquin being an AS ).
Cochran [12th] (Host Arisa, Travis)
Played once with him. I actually liked talking to him the bit I had a chance to when we were both in the game. Nice enough guy but I have seen games where he has flipped out (more like when I hosted him in Twisted 4). But he is a host now and seems to be a lot less immature which is great to see. Has warriors connections and Fabio mentioned that Cochran is already calling out the trio of Carter, Sierra, and I out.
Coach [16th (amongst other placements)] (Host Fairplay, Sophie The Island [3rd], Frank)
4 time TSG player? Sweet. I actually like him a lot even though we have hardly played together. I hosted him in Twisted 4, he hosted me, and I was one of the PWs for the last time he made it past the pre-merge phase in a game (as Sophie Clark In The Island). I mean someone with that many pre-jury finishes in this series has GOT to have some fire in his belly. He also is a big part of that warriors connection and is close friends with Alec, so that’s something to look out for. If he wants to work with me, hey sounds cool. Cool guy, really like talking to him, we just haven’t played together much.
So NOW let’s move onto people who I DO know and have talked to and played with, just not a SUPER DUPER large amount.
Steph [6th] (Annie GaE 2 [1st], Cameron)
I actually really really like Steph. We played together last season obviously and we started out on pretty great terms. Only reason why we drifted apart was because the tribe swaps meant we didn’t talk to each other as much, so we grew closer to our other Novais members (me to Jaime, her to Ozzy). I’m watching her in another game right now where she is basically one of the easiest people to root for. She is playing super well and I wish her luck for the future of the game, only “problem” is that it may take time away from this game. That plus her being involved in like a million real life things is pretty impressive. I don’t tend to do well with OTT personalities, but for some reason Steph seems to be different. Should be fun to play again. She is definitely a good player, super social and a really solid strategic mind. Challenge strength is really the only thing she seems to lack.
Alec [8th] (Host Austin, Fabio Epic 3 [6th], Grant)
So I played with Alec twice now; once where we were pit against each other and basically had to try getting each other out at all costs., and another time where we aligned super early on and I REALLY wanted to work with him long term but he ended up being idoled out. He’s just a super chill guy, fun to talk to. We share a lot of random interests and he got me into RHAP for a while (until I didn’t have much time to listen to it). He’s definitely a really good player. Has the physical, strategic, and social ability of the best of them. His biggest weakness seems to be getting recognized as a threat so early on.
Jaime [11th] (Probs Jakkbot)
The man haha. My gosh I loved Jaime last season so much. He was pretty endearing and I was glad I always had him on my side. Out of everyone I have listed so far I think he is the most likely to work with me purely on pre-game relations. I find him super endearing and I think he comes across different ways to different people. I still like how much he tries in convos, even if it switches from topic to topic so fast. His confessionals last season were CERTAINLY negative, but not towards me haha. Now I KNOW who he is suspected to be, but tbh I don’t really care at all. He did nothing wrong to me and I definitely like talking to him and working with him. He also is pretty good in challenges and I think he’d be a target before me in pretty much any circumstance. He doesn’t seem to be AMAZING at forming social relations, so I think I can come off as more likable.
Karter [3rd] (Host Joaq/James/Jud/Jay, Daniel)
I feel so weird putting him in this part of the list because we talk a lot at the least just as co-hosts, especially when setting up the next season of twisted. I also owe him a lot just on a personal level because he’s literally why I got into ORGs and am who I am today (so thanks Daniel!). But we only played together once before where I was a pretty big reason why he was voted out (epic 3). I really don’t know much at all about how he plays or intends to. Tbh I think he just intends on having fun with the whole thing (same with me pretty much) and not putting a lot of effort into strategy and stuff (COULD be me but idk). I am definitely still excited to see how this is going to go though, especially with us hosting at the same time. I’ll probably end up working with him almost by default, but also of course because it should be really fun.
OK. Now this leaves FOUR people left. Now these 4 people are probably some of the people I have played with the most in this community and are all pretty close friends outside of the game.
Big Tom [7th] (Dave Twisted 2 [4th], Nav)
He was my first ever close ally in an ORG; and also my second ever close ally in an ORG lol. In my first 2 games ever I ended up aligning really closely with him and he was definitely a fun person to talk to. Huge threat in both games on all 3 fronts. I have talked to him a lot since and we’ve played in a number of different games together, but not QUITE on the same side. There was a pretty long streak from TSG (where he wanted to work with me but I voted him out with the rest of my alliance) to Epic (where he tried getting rid of the Twisted pre-game alliance) where we ended up on opposite sides. I am almost certain that I don’t necessarily WANT to get rid of him early, but I DO know that people I will probably be working with do. He also is probably going to be a part of the club trying to break Sierra, Carter, and I up. I’d like to THINK I would be the last one out of those 3 targeted by him, but that doesn’t guarantee anything. Should be fun to play with him again.
Fabio [2nd] (Host Jeremiah, Burton Pure 3 [1st], Zach)
As of late one of my favorite people in ORGs. It started when I hosted him in Twisted 4 but we didn’t REALLY get close or anything until we played Pure 3 together, where we were both semi-active and teamed up. Right after we were part of a big move (in large part thanks to him) I was unceremoniously booted, but he was able to keep it up and I voted for him to win in the end, which he did. After that we also got to talk a lot in Epic FvFvF where I came on strong asking to work with him after having 0 in game relationship with him up until that point. That point forward we talked a lot more, got closer, and made some pretty big moves together (one that still haunts me a bunch but not at all for game reasons). He was later unceremoniously idoled out and he voted for me in the end to win, which I did. Whenever we work together one of us seems to win while the other is booted without the other being involved, so that’s a pretty solid track record.
Also this:
Center of the board, of course.
More foreshadowing hopefully???
Joaquin [2nd/3rd] (Eric Epic 3 [5th], Matt)
Love the guy. We both played our first game together (although he was a super early boot). We also both played Epic 3 together where we were really close and basically ran the entire merge (ok HE ran a lot of the merge and I was sorta there, so I voted him out just to be voted out the next round). I talk to him a lot outside the game and we are really super close. We talk on AIM a lot and before we both went off to uni we used to even skype a bunch. Suffice to say I definitely see myself working with him again. He is another example of someone I work, when I work with him, we both do well. Both Epics we both made it far, TSG, w/e. Only problem is when we turn on eachother the other gets screwed very shortly after (Twisted 3 he stray votes and I go, he goes 2 rounds later, Epic 3 I nom him to be eliminated, I get voted out next round, TSG I am forced to try voting him, I get eliminated, he goes to FTC as giant goat). So working together can prove pretty powerful, considering it worked out well in Epic FvFvF (when I wanted to stay true to him but he got voted out anyway).
Sierra [1st] (Host Sierra/Amanda/Erinn, Gary Twisted 2 [5th], Keri)
SO we talk about each other a lot lol. To each other, probably to others, definitely in confessionals when it feels weird to talk to each other directly about something. I’ve grown super duper close to her and the reason why she is last on this list is because she is probably the most important person to me on the cast. We initially met when playing both our first games together (Twisted 2) where we were on the same tribe and still pretty close allies. We talked a bit after the game ended and she ended up hosting me in the next season of twisted, where we talked more and more and she eventually asked me to play Good and Evil with her. Thank god I said yes because playing in that game (where we were one of the more dominant pairs thanks in great part to her social ability, and then when she was eliminated I tried taking the win home for us but ultimately failed as the final juror again) we grew super close and have basically talked every day since (minus one point that I’ll get to). I was SO happy she won TSG and playing through that together was just one more positive experience. THEN Epic FvFvF happened and I came to a realization that I was unable to beat her, AND a lot of random events that happened throughout the last round (feeling forced into an F3, abandoning another close friends, among w/e) made me decide to vote her out. Yeah um that wasn’t a very positive thing for our relationship lol. She stopped talking to me for about a day or so, and then while on the jury she still felt betrayed enough to ultimately try helping a total goat to win in the end over me or someone else who actually played a really good game. We should be all made up now and tbh I’m PRETTY sure we are, despite my own insecurities about it. I would still like to work with her, but I do recognize now that she isn’t going to be as emotionally distraught (not that she WON’T be, just isn’t going to be as hard of a decision) if deciding to vote me out for being a threat or w/e.
~my god that got way too long oooops~
So yeah! That is everyone. This twist sucks and looks super unpredictable but I laughed very hard to see Sierra, Karter, and even Fabio and I on the same team for round 1. I have 0 expectations or strategy other than staying close to the people I know and trying to get closer to those I don’t. Best way to play with friends is play the best so you don’t have to vote anyone out, so that’s what I am going to do my best to do. WILL IT HAPPEN, probs not. I’ll lay as low as I can but that probably won’t be too low. Imma do my best.
