Hellllllo ladies. Congratulations once again for making it to the end of this, it’s been an EXPERIENCE to say the least. Back by popular demand from my 5th place spot I DO plan on once again hosting an episode of Rankdown with Matty Ice™, but first I just wanted to say a few individual statements and get THAT out of the way. Luckily because I’m a weirdo I have a done of random graphics saved on my computer I can recycle to have some fun with this.
So STEPH. It’s definitely always interesting to play with you considering you tendency to do whatever the hell you want and being able to achieve it with some moderate if not great success. However I think it’s pretty clear that game wise you haven’t exactly been the GREATEST of game players, and you admit that so more power to ya. I should probably thank you for forcing the tie last round TBH. I do actually have a question not-list related that you can answer if you feel like it; had you not been brutally ganged up on for being associated with Sierra and I early in the game, when/how did you plan on flipping on us? Just curious is all.
NAY. Well congrats to making it to the end of this game without having many, if ANY close pregame relationships. It is certainly not an easy thing to do but, weirdly enough, the one other AS – esc game I have played in that very same thing happened, so this isn’t a SUPER unique thing, albeit still impressive. You were sorta an enigma to me because I had always associated you with the warriors grouping, and had assumed you were always working with them by the 2nd or 3rd time you lied to one of the Sierras about the vote (never to me because tbf we didn’t really talk much). Like with Steph I have an individual question for you to answer if you feel like it. Why lie SO much, and why lie when we basically knew you were lying? There isn’t anything wrong with lying to the other side but when you do it over and OVER again, issues sorta arise.
lolz. How you made it to the end again is beyond me but no complaints! I don’t think there is much to say that I haven’t told you already or said in ponderosa. You came in as the only winner and with an obvious target due to the Twisted vs Warriors thing where we had a minority and still made it to the FTC, even WITH you allies effing up along the way. So a hearty congrats to you and I may as well once again apologize for how the Sierra-Dawn vote went down (especially considering that is one of the reasons why *I* am on the jury). However for future reference, next time I come to you about the possibility of voting out your best friend in a game PLEASE don’t say “Whatever you do I won’t be mad”, and then proceed to be mad lol. I am more than ok with the brutal honest truth so there is no need to sugar coat things. I think the only individual question I would have for you would be if, somehow someway, a vote came around and you literally HAD to vote for me otherwise you would be eliminated, would you do it? For some reason that was on my mind recently and figured I may as well throw that question in here.
But enough of that! Time for the ACTUAL show. THIS TIME, with some inspiration from Jamie’s thread in the TSG Luanda Jury Questions, labeled “It’s like Boom Explosion.”
Welllllllcome once again to another episode of RANKDOWN, with Matty Ice. I am your host as always, Matthew Ice. Today’s show is a LITTLE different than the last one, considering it has been a while and the studio has had a few um……..INCIDENTS.
Yeah well at least I included all the finalists this time! Too bad explosions are happening all around them.
So my questions for this season are going to be PRETTY similar than last season, which is why I may offer some non-graphics alternatives for Sierra and Steph, Sierra because I asked her the same questions last season and Steph because I asked her the same question literally like 5 days ago or w/e when she won Secret Story (congrats again for that btw).
So Sierra and Steph you also get the option of instead of doing a jury power ranking, you can do a rites of passage for the jurors or prejurors or whoever you feel like doing (the sign is literally on fire, I am not being very strict with any of this). Nay I SUPPOSE you are welcome to do this as well, but if no one ranks the jury it’d be a waste of a perfectly good question and graphic. So in case you couldn’t see the sign before it fell off the screen (worked way too long on that crappy gif)), it asks you to rank social relationships you have had in this game. Which ones were most beneficial, all that jazz.
AND FINALLY, a NEW QUESTION because last season’s was asking for big moves each of you made and idk if it’s worth it to ask that for this game.
YES lol. We are all a bunch of complainers so what I decided to do is get you an outlet to say how things COULD have been better in this game. Feel free to include whatever you want, these questions are all in good fun. Best of luck and may the best woman win.

I feel like you are greatly exaggerating the degree to which I lied. I lied about voting Steph back into the game and voting for Coach at the final 12. Not sure what else? When I said to Sierra that I would be voting Steph back into the game, it was actually the way that I was leaning. I didn't think Cochran would be loyal to me since I just played intense defense on him in a challenge where his life was on the line, so I didn't see the benefit of bringing him back. But I did come around to the thinking that I would be more valuable to your alliance if it was Cochran who came back instead of Steph so I decided to swing that way and stick with the crew that I did. I think I cast my vote for the returnee like an hour before the vote and never told either Sierra I was doing that because real life things were keeping me occupied at that time. Saying I was down to vote Coach at the final 12 was to ensure the target stayed off me (I mean once I say I'm not down to vote Coach, what's to stop you guys from going to Coach about voting me? Since we weren't the closest of allies how could I know he'd turn down the offer too?) and to keep you guys from pressuring Steph about the vote. Brandon had told us that their plan was for her to vote rouge so the Warriors Clan could get the numbers. I felt like if you guys thought you had the extra security of my vote then Steph wouldn't be closely monitored about the vote and wouldn't back out of throwing a random vote.
I was completely honest and said I wasn't swinging the Coach way (to Joaquin) when I was approached the round Alec went home.
I'll do your other questions later, but this was quick so I figured I'd answer it for you before I headed out.

next time I come to you about the possibility of voting out your best friend in a game PLEASE don’t say “Whatever you do I won’t be mad”, and then proceed to be mad lolLOL like I wrote a confessional about this and I wasn't mad. In the immediate aftermath I was a) extremely confused, b) slightly heartbroken and c) JEALOUS because I felt like you had picked Matt over me, and against all logic (I was obviously having some srsly pathetic feelings that day). In the round after that, I felt like this: even though chris put nails in both our coffins by voting sd out i am not upset with him rn i just feel BAD for him I DO have to admit though that I did say in my confessionals that we were getting divorced and that you could marry Matt instead at some stage during that drama. I JUST WANTED YOU TO LOVE ME. If somehow someway, a vote came around and you literally HAD to vote for me otherwise you would be eliminated, would you do it?If I literally HAD to in order to avoid my own elimination, I'd cry about it to/with you for ever (kind of like in Luanda) and then yes, I'd do it. I think I'm well past the stage where I'd flat out willingly sacrifice my own game for anyone else, especially knowing they wouldn't do the same for me.

whenever i had the opportunity to. it just so happened that i ended up strongly disliking pretty much everyone you guys were against, and they voted me out so like... that opportunity wasnt really there. i originally wanted to at least get one of you out prejury to limit your ultimate control of the jury phase, but eh!
thanks for the compliment on my fuckery i do enjoy it. i came into the game hoping to actually play a good game, but i hated every second of this entire experience, so. who cares
ill do the rest later, not like its really important i do - i'm basically the joaquin of luanne

I DO have to admit though that I did say in my confessionals that we were getting divorced and that you could marry Matt instead at some stage during that drama. I JUST WANTED YOU TO LOVE ME. No offense to Matt (or 90% of the ORG population), I don't QUITE roll that way, so if we can avoid being divorced that'd be really nice kthx.

I'll circle back to the power ranking thing later, but here are some answers working out of order...
Four of Nay's Relationships
1) Fabio: Unless someone's been living under a rock, everyone knows Fabio would be one of the people to make my list. He was the person I became personally closest to in the game and was therefore also important to me from a game standpoint. We strategized together for every single tribal council we went to together and I think came to the point of close to 100% trust, if not 100% trust by the time it was just us. You need someone like that in the game. One key point where I think our close relationship really benefited me was during the Predator/Prey challenge. I felt like I was somewhat in the middle of that who can throw best showdown. If we went to tribal I feel like I would have potentially been in a lot of danger or at best Ian would be the one to go, which I didn't want at all either. I felt like I was the one in danger because the other side was 'throwing for me' and that would make me seem like a liability come the merge. But anyway, BACK TO FABS, no one on my tribe was posting so meanwhile I had to play some intense defense and make sure Cochran didn't get any posts. Literally increased the site traffic a couple thousand times just on my own from refreshing that night and all the next day at work. Fabio eventually started posting so that I could relax on checking a little bit, and I think our close relationship was definitely a contributing factor to him doing that. 2) Ian: Ian was another really close ally and friend of mine. I felt like I could really trust him because we were both in the warriors clan, but to my knowledge, Ian also didn't have strong pregame connections within the group. So from the second round on, after going to tribal together, I saw him as someone who I could trust to be loyal to me (and I to him). Not to imply that I dropped all my guards, but I was hopeful. As we approached the merge, I also thought he'd be willing to flip with me as it benefited us then hopefully go back. He let me in on his plan to vote for Coach at the final 10. I did express general reservations about it, but I didn't really anticipate Brandon flipping there either too, so I didn't see it backfiring how it did, or I would have expressed stronger reservations. 3) Sierra Dawn: This might be a more surprising ranking, but Sierra Dawn and I were girls at the beginning of the game. We never even attended tribal council together until the merge, but we talked about working together and stuff all the time. The way things played out it probably seems like I was blowing smoke up her ass, but that wasn't the case. I didn't want to vote for her at the final 11 at all. I tried to point out in our alliance chat that JW's idols are notoriously hard to find and he didn't put one in there for a couple rounds in Tuvalu, so we probably we would okay voting you or Joaquin, but it didn't work. After I voted for her there we understandably couldn't follow through with the things we talked about before. Additionally, I think my close relationship with SD is probably one of the things that initially earned me some cred with the twisted crew. I can imagine her campaigning for me and saying that I could be trusted and things of that nature<3 4) Joaquin: There's certainly people in the game who I was closer to on a personal level, but your gif clearly differentiates that you want us to talk about relationships that benefited our game and not our bffs. Joaquin is without a doubt someone who's presence benefited me. Joaquin is one of the people who voted Sierra Dawn out over me at the final 7. Since it was a 4-3 vote, him not doing that would have meant that I went home. He could have just stolen Fabs or I's vote initially, but he didn't and that benefited me. Even if he changed his mind in the revote and went back to his crew, he used his vote stealer in a way that greatly benefited me and made that tie possible. Nay's Complaints
I really don't have all that much too serious to complain about tbh. Not trying to sound like a suck up since Probsty doesn't even have a vote here, but I had a largely positive experience, which apparently was out of the ordinary. Of course I wish that challenges and tribal council results were posted in a more timely fashion, but it never killed me waiting. I also wish that challenge results were more thorough (i.e. -listing placement and scores) or had some suspense to them, but I knew that's how Probsty normally did things in past seasons coming in. Ummm I would prefer not having had the rope chopping challenge when there were only six people left in the game and it always irks me when series don't have you submit a personal set of responses and then what you think the majority said for that challenge. I wish Brenda lasted longer. Other peeps I wish had played: Jaclyn and PG obv, but also Mary, ERICA, Bob, and RC (while simultaneously playing as Brenda). Can't really think of anything else, but I'll add 'em in if so.

1. SD - this is pretty obvious. Matty and Sierra were my closest allies and my confidants for the vast majority of the game. When she got voted out I was pretty shattered. Any anger I felt towards you over that vote was rooted in the fact that SD had acted arguably against her best interests and put herself in danger and at a constant disadvantage by sticking with us when it would have been more beneficial for her to just flip away, and you had kind of just thrown that dedication she'd shown to us in her face because of heresy and Joaq's ostensible desire for vengeance. My relationship with SD was instrumental not only in the advancement of my game, but the retention of my fkn sanity throughout the course of the season. Thanks for everything b <3 2. Matty - my partner in crime ONCE AGAIN (for most of the game, at least). I really can't undersell the benefits of having your best ORG friend in a game with you, even if that ORG friend sometimes exhibits gamebot tendencies and decides he might want to vote you out (<3 u little fk). I love how people never try to split us up until it's way too late despite the fact that knowledge of our relationship couldn't be much more public (don't get any ideas for Pure/Twisted AS plz guys). Having you gives me someone concrete to bounce ideas off of, exchange information with, level with strategically, have emotional meltdowns, caps lock shoutfests and Skype freakouts to without fear of judgement (thanks my love, especially considering how Next Level Insane I've been over the last month and a bit) and most of all, have fun in the game with. 3. Steph - she's said like a billion times that she wanted to turn on me but no one listened, so I have to give her a shout out for sticking with me, even if begrudgingly. I wouldn't even be here if Steph hadn't forced the tiebreaker for me at F4 and I'm sure she had the opportunity to get rid of me multiple times but never took it. Ty bb. 4. Joaquin - Joaq and I weren't anywhere near as close in this game as we were in Luanda, which became very evident at F7 when shit started to spiral downhill with the SD stuff. Nonetheless, prior to that clusterfuck, he and Matty were some of my closest allies, and it was Joaq who correctly guessed for the lifesaver that eliminated Alec and swung the game back in our favour. 5. Coach/Alec - just wanted to mention these two because while I have no way to definitively measure whether my relationships with them had a major effect on my game, I did talk a decent amount of strategy with Alec especially, and I think that my friendships with the two of you and the way we interacted in this game might have kept me a little safer than I otherwise would have been? Idk. JUST SPITBALLING HERE.
