Sorry, I meant to write another confessional last round but I was just in Vegas for the weekend celebrating my birthday at Life is Beautiful, and it was fucking awesome. I'm finally back home today, albeit very, very tired, but I'll provide some information for you guys.
To recap last round, I was placed on a team with a small group of people, all of whom I was allied with in some various way, shape, or form, and I wasn't able to contribute at all to the challenge (a posting one that I remember hating in Jiangxi, John makes the most obnoxious challenges ever to torture his casts, which I love doing as a host, but I really hate challenges that involve effort rather than skill). I initially looked it over, I was just trying to figure out the vote in case shit hit the fan. We had Coach, who seemed like an easy target, but JT and Cochran were at TC on the other side, so it seemed easy to take one of the brothers out. Now that JT is gone, Coach's power in the game is substantially weaker, but he'll be able to last a lot longer. Ian and NaOnka were the people I didn't know pre-game, so one of them seemed like the most likely option to go, but it was all for nothing. We won. Well, the tribe won and I just kinda was dragged to safety, which suuuuuuuuucks. I don't care if I was going to go home, I had a beautiful non-immune streak and it was ruined by competent people...so sad.
Anyways, now we're onto Round 7, which is cool I guess. There's another challenge that I'm being sat out of, which is very, very smart. I've done an excellent job of making myself useless this entire game, because being in another game (which I got voted out of thank god), juggling school, a short film, and my birthday weekend really made this hard. However, I wouldn't not play in this season. Without me, John would have nobody besides FS (Fierce Sierra for those who don't remember) to root for. Apparently, Cochran called NFS (Non-Fierce Sierra) a hypocritical bitch was is hilarious. Cochran spits poison when he gets pissed, which is really stupid, but soooooooo fun to watch aka hear about days later. He's effectively sealed his own fate, which is a bummer, but at least he went down doing what he did best: go fucking crazy and ensuring his own boot.
This is just going to make the merge a lot more interesting, now that our numbers are getting whittled down a bit. On one side, there's NFS, FS, Matty, and Courtney versus Alec, Fabio, Coach (lol he just kinda joined at some random point), NaOnka, Ian, and I. Now, Coach has a tendency to do stupid things, but I can't really see him flipping. NaOnka and Ian only have something to gain by doing it, honestly. My ideal F4 would contain Alec, Fabio, NaOnka, and I, solely due to Ian and Coach being friends with Alec. I'm not really plotting against my alliance, only carefully thinking about potential targets down the road in case I actually make it to the F6/7...yeah, I think it's technically plotting. Oh well. I don't have that much to lose, and if I don't make the finals, I'd like to make the jury fun.
