I forgot to mention this in my confessional by Ian tried asking me about voting out Sierra. Yeahhhhh, suffice to say that is not happening. I still tried to hear him out but in the end I don't think he has much control over his fate. RIP, but thanks for voting with us! |

Ian getting eliminated was sorta sad, because he really did want to help us I think. He LITERALLY voted himself out lol, which is so awful. If he had voted Sierra with Fabio, Nay, and Coach then he would still be in the game and in a majority. RIP.
So instead the majority APPEARS to be Joaquin, Steph, Sierra Dawn, Sierra, and myself. As I mentioned before Fabio isn't overly pleased and has tried to mention the possibility of me flipping on one of the Sierras (citing I voted one out once and won the game in large part because of it (but that also sucked lol)).
The worst part is that he DOES have a point that if either Sierra or Sierra Dawn make it to the end they have the win in the bag, Sierra Dawn over Sierra probably because people would find it funny. Having likable people on my side is GREAT, but it does spell problems for end game and actually like "wanting to win." Been through a whole bunch with this game so just throwing it away certainly isn't something I would like to do.
Also know that Sierra has been through a lot this game and the fact that she made it so far is pretty impressive considering the giant target she had on her back for A. Winning and B. Having it be the warriors group against her. It would be EXTREMLY crappy if it was me who ONCE AGAIN was the reason she got eliminated in an AS game.
So Fabio is asking me to flip. Also his immunity challenge was pretty interesting, I went back to Palawan and tried to find as many of the words as possible that were on that crossword. I WOULD like to know just how many more words Nay found because I literally could not think of anything else to go search for. I used a wordsearch solver and just typed in a bunch of random words hoping for the best. Still ugh @ Nay winning, considering I would have loved to vote her out. She has lied so so many times to SD and Sierra and I guess us in general, that it would have been nice seeing her pay for it. Plus I keep trying to delay the inevitable with voting out Brandon or Fabio. Game wise Fabio is the next biggest threat after Sierra and Sierra Dawn for sure. Looking at the mem wall:
 This one, ya know, the updated one I actually had a weird thought come to mind that purely game wise, Joaq and I are/can theoretically be swing votes for a lot of the next couple rounds if we play our cards right. I say Joaq instead of like, Sierra, because once again she is like guaranteed to win if she makes it to the end, no way people are going to be mad enough to NOT vote her (unless SD is still in the game). I am obviously close to Joaquin and I weirdly see this as almost a parallel to Luanda, when Sierra pretty much had Joaquin as that extra number to always have a great spot come late game. Now would he be that loyal to me? I mean it is Matt so you can never know (lol, sorry bud) but I feel like he probably would be. I think I would probably be able to beat him simply because I have the ultimate trump card of "I literally gave up immunity for you to come back into the game after being eliminated, I am 100% the reason why you are here."
So this will be interesting. I don't plan on going into another EPIC (lol) spiral out of control, but I do need to rethink some stuff I think. |

If Joauin gets eliminated I blame myself. I think it easily could have been avoided and now Im super worried that I effed things up. If he goes then I don't think I'm out of the game or anything but I know it is not going to be good. Hoping to god Sierra D was honest to Sierra and not Brandon. |

Ok so this round either Joaq or Steph are going most likely. I know Sierra is trying to vote him out but I'm not sure if it'd be this round or the next one. I would imagine Fabio and Nay would be more apt to voting out Steph than Joaqun at this point, because Joaq is willing to vote Sierra while she is not (Sierra mentioned that Steph has switched from playing for SD to win for playing for her to win). I'm basically taking a backseat for this round regardless because I'm not voting for either of them. What I feel bad about is that if Steph does go and the Sierra loses immunity and goes next round, it is my fault that those 3 were eliminated. Its like Cochran in SoPa. By voting with the Family he opened up the door for all of his old tribe members to leave, with him being the last one going out the door from his old tribe. I can honestly see that happening to me at F4 if things keep going the way they go.
That's why I need to hope Sierra wins immunity next round. Joaquin would be willing to vote Fabio at that point I think and at an F4 of Sierra Joaquin and I guess Nay I am certainly not going to be the target. Sierra would (probably) force the tie for me. The only SLIGHT issue is that I am sure she would want to vote out Joaquin there. If she doesn't win immunity at F4 I would then be forced to vote her out or to force the tie for her. Like TBQH, I think I would be crazy enough to force the tie, especially if it is an F2. I would ask her if Nay would be the person we vote and then it'd be her vs Nay at F4 for the TB. Then at F2 I have Joaquin who isn't going to take Sierra over me if he wins immunity because of threat stuff and Sierra would take me over Joaquin because she isn't very happy with Joaquin. I said it in my audio confessional but I'll say it again, an F2 of Sierra and I or Joaquin and I HONESTLY should just count as a win for the both of us. If *I* win the FIC? Well who tf knows what'll happen. I'll give up my place for Sierra Dawn or something.
But that ENTIRE paragraph means jack if Sierra can't win immunity. Or does it? I think at this point of the game I may have lost my mind enough to the point where if *I* win immunity, then I would legit give her the necklace. Yes I am serious, I am willing to give her the necklace at F5 where I would logically be the next target. The thing is I am not banking on logic, I am weirdly (and funnily enough) banking on emotional gameplay on Joaq's part. He would have the choice of voting for Fabio or I. Will he be mad if I give her my necklace? Oh I'm sure! But eff it I am willing to take the risk. I think even after all of that he would like to avoid voting for me over Fabio, and I know he isn't going to vote out Nay because he is going to want to bring her to the end as his "goat."
NONE of the above matters if Steph doesn't go this round, which is still a decent possibility because the idol is still out there in the trove (one we get access to it anyway *wink*wink*). If one of the 3 of us legit gets an idol and plays it on Steph, it would be absolutely ridiculous. |

I'm either going or are on the way out. As the deadline passed Joaquin was saying some weird stuff and then basically spilled his entire plan about the Schrodingers cat thing and saying that I was going to be getting votes. Now initially I didn't know why was telling me this, because I can hardly care less about getting votes cast against me unless I'm getting eliminated. WELL, APPARENTLY there was a plan put in place to split the vote between Steph and I in case of an idol, with me ultimately being the one getting eliminated. The way he set it up, Joaq didn't have to be the one voting for me and he thought that would make it better I guess.
So back to the cat thing. He showed me the excerpt about it from his confessional, and objectively it's pretty effing messed up. I made the deal with him that I would vote SD that round if he didn't vote for Sierra this round. WELL, APPARENTLY that meant it would be better for him to vote for ME instead this round. And even then, had Sierra not won immunity he PROBABLY still would have voted for her over me. So there is that.
One of my biggest issues with the whole thing is that a large reason as to why I voted for Sierra Dawn was because she was threatening to Joaq. He's an ally/friend so I wanted to help him out, plus all the other various things that I questioned about SD. If he does vote me off then that means me voting SD is gonna screw me over, it's gonna screw Sierra over, and it's not going to be a happy ending. I am NOT for that, so I think I'm going to need to do whatever possible to avoid it from happening.
ANOTHER thing that bothers me is that I think he may have even accepted at this point he loses no matter what. If he votes me out he just voted out his closest ally, loses my vote Sierra's vote, and Sierra Dawn's vote (not sure if he would even have the Sierras tbh but w/e.). His best shot is then to get to the end with Nay and Steph, and Nay or Steph can probably win over him. If I had to put money on it Nay would win. I think this move would essentially lock him out of any contention whatsoever in the game which sucks.
ON PAPER the position Joaq is in is a great one. He is between 2 sides and chooses the person who goes home for these next 2 rounds. I think he is stuck in playing to TRY and win (even though he can't) or play and simply help me try to win. Like I can understand accepting you are going to lose sucks, I've had to go through something similar (but in the end was different because I COULD and DID win). Now Joaq essentially has to betray someone. Either he is betraying Fabio who he promised he wouldn't vote for, or me who he has promised as far as F2, even just taking other games and experiences into account.
It just BOTHERS me that I took our relationship into account when voting SD and other stuff in the game. I effing knew bringing him back into the game was ultimately going to be my downfall. Ugh, I really do hate this because I don't want Matt to feel bad about this, but I also can't let him think this is perfectly ok. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow. |

Oh baby I think I'm safe somehow. Joaq said he was going to vote Steph which means at worst rocks are being forced and I'll be safe. It would be amazing if he did go to rocks and one of Nay him or Fabio get eliminated because of it but he seems super guilty about making one of them go for some reason. Its a weird situation and I hope he can deal with it, but I'm just glad that I was told I would be safe. |
